Supertalls are towers of 300 metres (984 ft) or more. These are the ones being built right now, from foundation work to topping out. Megatalls tracks 16 in 10 cities. The tallest is Jeddah Tower in Jeddah at 1000 m (3,281+ ft).

Hyatt was named hotel partner for the Torch, bringing its StandardX brand to North America with an 1,800-room hotel at 255 West 45th Street. It follows the $1.25 billion JPMorgan-led construction financing Extell secured in September.
