A 75-story government office tower in the Plateau business district of Abidjan, the largest city in Ivory Coast. It will bring together ministries now spread across the city, and an observation deck sits at the top. The shape is inspired by traditional African masks.
At 421 meters it will be the tallest building in Africa, passing Egypt's Iconic Tower. Work began in 2021, the roof has topped out, and the spire is going on, with completion expected late in 2026. The state is paying for it, at upward of 250 billion CFA francs (about $450 million).
