A 62-story office tower planned for Park Avenue between 51st and 52nd streets, replacing two older office buildings. Ken Griffin's Citadel and Citadel Securities would take about 850,000 of its 1.8 million square feet.
The developers bought air rights from St. Patrick's Cathedral and St. Bartholomew's Church. The City Council approved the tower unanimously in October 2025, and Vornado filed for construction permits the next month. In October 2026 Ken Griffin, Vornado and Rudin closed a $3.3 billion construction loan from seven banks, and construction is now underway.
