A 1,162-foot, 74-story supertall at the northeast corner of Madison Avenue and East 60th Street, a block from Central Park. When finished it will be the tallest building on the Upper East Side, far above the current record holder, 520 Park Avenue. Condos fill the upper floors, about 154 homes averaging over 3,000 square feet each, with roughly 233,000 square feet of offices and shops below.

Extell, the developer of Central Park Tower, cleared the old 24-story building on the site and secured a loan of about $1.13 billion in December 2025. Excavation and piling began in July 2026, and the foundations are expected to take shape toward the end of 2026.
