A 29-story hotel and casino planned across from Mandalay Bay, with 752 rooms in a heart-shaped glass tower wrapped in a full-height LED screen. The two concrete pillars left from the abandoned SkyVue observation wheel would be reinforced to hold a restaurant 265 feet above the ground.
Applebaum bought the nearly 12-acre site for $70 million in spring 2026. Clark County approved the plan in July 2026, after the tower was cut by 60 feet to meet FAA limits. No start date has been set.
