Europe's largest public transport project: four new driverless metro lines (15, 16, 17 and 18) and an extended Line 14, adding about 200 km of track and 68 stations around Paris. Line 15 forms a ring that lets people travel between suburbs without going through the city center.
The Line 14 extensions opened in June 2024. The schedule set in September 2026 has the first stretch of Line 18 opening in December 2026, Line 15 South in autumn 2027, the first parts of Lines 16 and 17 in autumn 2028, and the rest of Line 15 in 2031.
