Santander is replacing its own 1970s private-banking building on Brickell Avenue with a 50-story office tower of about 1.6 million sq ft, for its Miami operations plus outside tenants.

The bank has been trying to build here for over 15 years: an 84-story and then a 52-story design around 2010, a 40-story filing in 2024, and finally a groundbreaking in April 2026. Delivery is targeted for 2029. The final height of the 50-story design has not been published.
