The head office of the Banco Central do Brasil in the South Banking Sector of Brasília's Pilot Plan. At 101 meters it is the tallest building in the planned city itself; taller towers in the Federal District stand in satellite cities such as Águas Claras. Two dark glass blocks are set against a pale concrete core, and the building has about 47,800 square meters of floor space on 21 floors above ground and 6 below.

The architect Hélio Ferreira Pinto designed it. Construction ran from August 1975 to May 1981. The building also houses the bank's Museum of Values, with a collection of coins and banknotes.
