A two-tower complex in downtown Bogotá whose South Tower is the tallest building in Colombia. BD stands for Bogotá Downtown, and Bacatá is the name of the old hotel that stood on the site and of the indigenous settlement that came before Bogotá. The plan combines offices, shops, apartments and a 364-room hotel, and it was the first skyscraper in the world to be paid for largely by crowdfunding, through shares sold to small investors.

The Spanish firm Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados designed it, Prodigy Network promoted it and Prabyc Ingenieros was the contractor. The South Tower reached its full height in the late 2010s and the Skyscraper Center lists it as finished in 2018, but the building was never fully completed after the main investor stopped paying the contractor. The company Total Co took over the recovery in late 2024 to finish the empty floors, and in early 2026 it said about 30% of the work was still to be done.
