The head office of the insurer Assuria on the Recolaan in the Flora district of Paramaribo and, at 56 meters, the tallest building in Suriname. Paramaribo has no skyscrapers, so this ten-floor tower is a modest record holder. Its shape tells a story from the film Wan Pipel: the base is a korjaal, a dugout canoe, the side cores are the steering pole and the front and back are paddles. It also has a theater, a hall for 750 guests and a restaurant.

The design by architecture firm ABT and FIRM Engineering won a 2014 competition. Building started on June 23, 2017, with RHC as contractor and VSH Steel detailing and supplying the steel frame, and the tower opened on December 27, 2019 at a cost of about US$15 million. It was the first building in Suriname with a building management system, reusing rainwater and saving energy.
