A residential tower in Puerto Madero, on Azucena Villaflor Avenue east of Dock Two, and the tallest building in Argentina. It was built by Grupo Alvear, the owner of the Alvear Palace Hotel, with 174 apartments of up to 500 square meters, ceilings of about 3 meters, and a long list of shared amenities that includes a semi-Olympic pool, a rooftop club, a cinema and golf and ski simulators. The highest penthouse in the country sits on the 40th floor.
The site was first meant for the Hotel Unique by the Spanish developer Rayet, a project that collapsed in the 2008 financial crisis. Grupo Alvear bought the lot in 2010, the Pfeifer-Zurdo studio designed the tower, and work started in March 2012. It was finished in 2019 and inaugurated on August 30, 2019. The Skyscraper Center lists 235 meters and 55 floors; Spanish-language sources quote 239 meters.
