A 49-story tower on Woodward Avenue, on the site of the famous J. L. Hudson's department store that was imploded in 1998. It is the second-tallest building in Michigan and the first 500-foot-plus skyscraper built in Detroit this century. The tower will hold an EDITION hotel and 97 condos, next to a 12-story office building.

Work started in December 2017 and the tower topped out in April 2024, after the height was cut from earlier plans of up to 912 feet. The office building is open, with General Motors' global headquarters there since January 2026. The hotel and condos in the tower are due in 2027. The whole complex cost about $1.4 billion.
