Poland's new main airport, being built about 40 km west of Warsaw near Baranów, with a high-speed rail station right under the terminal. It is meant to replace Warsaw Chopin as LOT Polish Airlines' hub, starting with two 4 km runways and a 450,000-square-meter terminal with a woven roof designed by Foster + Partners.
The project, first called the Central Communication Port (CPK), survived a review by the new government in 2024 and was renamed Port Polska. It got its final environmental approval at the start of 2026. Trial piling for the terminal is done, ahead of about 8,100 foundation piles, and site works are under way. The airport and rail program is budgeted at about PLN 131.7 billion (around €31 billion), and the first phase is due to open at the end of 2032.

- Permit due December, test piling done
The infrastructure ministry expects the terminal's building permit in December 2026, after 94 test piles were completed. State bank BGK is in early talks on loans of up to 20 bn zł, as EU funding for the rail link looks unlikely.
