The headquarters of ANTEL, Uruguay's state telecommunications company, on the Bay of Montevideo, and the tallest building in Uruguay. Officially named the Torre de las Telecomunicaciones or Torre Joaquín Torres García, it has a sail-like curved top. The complex around it includes a customer service building, a telecommunications museum and an auditorium, and the tower is open for guided visits.

The Uruguayan-Canadian architect Carlos Ott designed it, and it was completed in 2002 by a design and build team that included American Bridge. Its cost became a political controversy, growing from about US$65 million to US$102 million for the whole complex. The Skyscraper Center lists 157.6 meters and 32 floors; other sources give 35 floors.
