A residential and commercial tower at the corner of Avenida Naciones Unidas and Avenida Amazonas, next to La Carolina park in the commercial heart of northern Quito. It will be the tallest building in the city, with apartments, offices and shops behind a curving facade that is meant to read as an extension of the park, and amenities that include a bowling alley, pools, a cinema, an auditorium and a pet spa.
It is the first South American project of the Beijing firm MAD Architects, led by Ma Yansong. Uribe Schwarzkopf announced it in April 2023 with an investment of about US$86 million and a build time of 48 months, and lists delivery in the third quarter of 2027. The Skyscraper Center lists 140 meters and 37 floors; the developer has described 36 floors and about 130 meters.
